Yes, SFI is currently working toward a primary sponsorship arrangement with Herd Racing, LLC, a West Virginia-based NASCAR-sanctioned stock car race team. Based near Huntington, West Virginia, Herd Racing competes in several racing divisions, including the NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and ARCA Racing Series. Herd is also pursuing interests in NASCAR's top-tier, the Sprint Cup Series.

We are very close to finalizing this, and hope to have our first actual NASCAR event featuring a TripleClicks paint scheme, piloted by veteran driver Brett Rowe, sometime by the end of June.

While this is in the works, we have sponsored an entry in the Pro All Star Series (PASS) racing event on June 4th at ACE Speedway in Altamahaw, NC, with super-talented driver Michael Gaier (pronounced GUY-er) behind the wheel. Gaier's brand-new #75 Ford Fusion will feature the EyeEarn.com graphics.

Biography:

Michael began his racing career following in the footsteps his father took, starting with go-karts, moving to modifieds and then on to late models.  In 1997 at the ripe age of 9, Michael was a stand-out on the karting scene throughout the Midwest.  Over 5 years he accumulated 40 wins, 96 top-five, and 147 top-ten finishes, on his way to winning the 2001 MPC kart Championship and the PEPSI Point Series Championship.

In 2003, Michael made the step-up to Open-Wheel Modifieds. It was a stellar year for the young man as he picked up 2 Feature wins and 5 heat race wins in the Michigan Modified Association, winning Rookie of the Year honors.

In 2004, Michael backed up his previous years' efforts, by winning 3 features and 4 heats en route to a 6th place standing in the overall points, and the honor of being the Michigan Modified Association Sportsman of the Year. 2005 saw Michael’s step into the super late model ranks, running in the ASA Late Models and the SuperPro Series, where he gathered 3 runner-up finishes and 2 new track records, and 6th place in season point standings. 2006 was Michael’s transition into the CRA Super Series where he posted 3 top-5 finishes and 2 top-10 finishes in only 7 starts.  Michael also competed in various USA Modified Series races throughout the year.

2007 was a break-out year for the young man, as he garnered the runner-up position in the SuperPro Series' overall points chase. With 3 wins and 2 track records at some of the toughest tracks in the Midwest, Michael showed he had what it takes to compete, at the fastest tracks as well as the smallest of the short tracks.

2008 saw many changes for Michael, as he was offered a move to Race City USA–Mooresville, NC–to work full-time on race cars.  Joining Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) increased Michael's knowledge of racing machines.  After 4 wins and numerous poles the team finished 3rd in the 2008 ARCA Series points chase.

In 2009 Michael worked on the #6 ARCA Series ESR team, grabbing 6 wins and the 2009 ARCA Series season championship trophy.  Michael feels the knowledge he gained working for ESR was priceless, and will benefit him greatly as he makes his way back into the driver seat in 2010.
